How to install .NET Framework offline (from DVD) in Windows 8

In this post I explain how to install .NET Framework 3.5 (including 2.0 and 3.0) to Windows 8 or Windows 8.1.

• Insert or mount Windows 8/8.1 installation media.
• Run Command Prompt as Administator.
• Execute the following command: DISM /Online /Enable-Feature /FeatureName:NetFx3 /All /LimitAccess /Source:d:\sources\sxs

P.S. Don't forget to replace d:\ with your installation drive letter.
